John O'Brien
1. How long have you been involved with CFA and what made you decide to join the board?
November 2013 was the first time I registered my daughter. I decided to join the board because I bought into the founding members idea that a youth sports organization is best ran by volunteers and ran privately. And after my years of experience, I believe this still holds true.

2. What is your favorite aspect of the organization and what we offer?
My favorite aspect is complete full development, and not just in softball. I have done and continue to do everything I can to provide that.

3. What has been your favorite event hosted by CFA?
Family Fun Day/Our league wide opening day!

4. What is your concession stand guilty pleasure?
SNICKERS!!!!!!

5. What is your favorite movie?
Shawshank Redemption

6. Tell us a joke:
Why did the turkey cross the road?
To prove he wasn't chicken.

7. What is one personal goal you have for this organization?
To develop the belief in every young lady that comes through here that she can! She can make her high school team. She can get into college and make that team too. She can have a wonderful career and life. She can help change the world. She can help change lives for the better. In the end, EMPOWER them!

8. What do you think sets CFA apart from other organizations?
Our love and belief in our athletes. Not as softball players, but as our future leaders. The way we create beyond teams and create a family for our girls. A place they feel safe. An organization that our young ladies know believes in them, far and beyond the softball field. CFA creates a place that they can always call home, no matter where their lives take them.

Ashley Boone
1. How long have you been involved with CFA and what made you decide to join the board?
We joined CFA in 2021 for my daughter's first year of softball. It was within the same year that I was asked to join the board. I took the opportunity because I absolutely loved the community within the organization, and I wanted the chance to give back as more than just a coach. I wanted to be able to support all of the players, at each age level, and help the organization thrive.

2. What is your favorite aspect of the organization and what we offer?
My favorite aspect is the families. While we have been a part of many other sports and organizations, the families within CFA haven't just because friends, but literal family. We offer so many opportunities to get together, not just as teams, but as an organization. CFA goes above and beyond teaching the sport of softball.

3. What has been your favorite event hosted by CFA?
The end of the season picnic and Movie in the Outfield!!

4. What is your concession stand guilty pleasure?
Without a doubt, Churros!

5. What is your favorite movie?
I hate picking just one, so I guess I will simply go with Beauty & the Beast

6. Tell us a joke:
Why do cows wear bells?
Because their horns don't work!

7. What is one personal goal you have for this organization?
That we stay true to our beliefs that every single girl who plays in this organization matters. And then maybe a new batting cage in the near future, ha.

8. What do you think sets CFA apart from other organizations?
The fact that we genuinely care about providing our girls a safe place to play the sport they love and that we care deeply about their development. Not just as players, but as people. We will always have their best interest at heart and thrive to be the best we can, not for show, but because we believe that our players and families deserve it.

To bring out the best ball players in every girl. Even though they may give up on themselves when it gets hard, they'll know they have people behind them to lift them back up and succeed in all aspects of the game and life.  l hope my love of the game will grow on them and they'll be softball players for life!

8. What do you think sets CFA apart from other organizations?
The dedication of our volunteers to provide the best experience possible, whether during the season, or off-season clinics and indoor practices. We have plenty of opportunities to grow great ball players!
